退休后的应急资金


很多人对房屋贷款中Line of Credit这类产品比较陌生,大家对此产品也是褒贬不一,希望看过今天文章的你可以对它有所了解。

很多人听银行的建议,说设立Line of Credit并不会有任何费用,并且不适用也不会产生利息,所以就报以做了应急的方式申请了下来。可不知在卖房取消此产品时,费用就会产生了。

这么听下来大家也应该悟出一些:

Line of Credit 并不适合短期会进行买卖的屋主,(也不适合在Mortgage Term结束后想要换贷款机构的屋主)。

既然了解到此产品不适合短期买卖的屋主,那它就一定适合打算长期在房屋中住下去的人(特别是老年人)。

通常大部分加拿大人在62岁前供完Mortgage,随后就进入安逸退休生活。可大部分人在退休后几乎所有流动资金都锁在自己的退休账户中,同时又拿着政府所发放的老年金以及养老金,所以如果一旦发生任何紧急事件需要急需用钱可能所有钱都不是很灵活。

因为如果一大笔取了退休账户,税可能就要交去一大部分并且还影响政府发放的老年金。这时候Line of Credit就显得异常重要!首先设立Line ofCredit不需要任何花费,不取现金也不会产生任何利息,如果急需要现金利息也是从取出来的当天开始计算,并且利息将远远低于信用卡的利率。应急的资金对于老年人老说是非常非常重要的,所以退休后一定记得要有Line of Credit以作为应急时的小金库。

此外,设立Line of Credit一定要在退休前还有工资的情况下申请,因为退休后将失去收入,借贷机构会视为无能力偿还而不予批准。
